Next June 5th we celebrate the World Environment Day, and here you are the ideas that we posted this week for you to enjoy that day.

Drink for the World Environment Day
For the World Environment Day, the drink
that we propose you is, simply, water.
Water
is essential for survival of all living beings, but it is also a limited
resource, so it is vital that we all do a lower use for not to waste it.
According to FAO estimates, one in five
developing countries will have water shortages by 2030.
It is considered by some as white
gold because of it’s limited, and by others, however, as a luxury good.

Drink for the World Oceans Day
Celebrate this event with a refreshing and blue drink: Oceanic Gin Tonic.
To prepare it you just need: vodka, blue tonic and a lemon slice. Here you are the result:

Dessert for the World Oceans Day
To celebrate this event, we propose a dessert inspired by one of my favourite animal who lives in the seabed: grapes with dolphin.
It is a very natural, simple and original dessert. You only need: grapes, a banana and a red candied cherry. Ah! and do not forget to draw an eye to the dolphin.... this is the result:
Dessert with pineapple to enjoy the World Environment Day
The dessert that we recommend you to enjoy the World Environment Day is one completely yellow. This color will bring you joy and good humor, as it is the same as that of sunlight. It will provide you with energy and creativity!
We have prepared grilled pineapple, accompanied by a cream made with custard and vanilla milkshake.
And to top it off, we added some English biscuits.

Decoration for the World Oceans Day
To celebrate the World Oceans Day we propose a bathroom decor inspired by the seabed: soap dish with shells.
It is a cheap and easy decor to make. You just need some decorative blue sand and some shells that you picked up on the beach. For a touch of colour add a few small balls of pink gel.
World Environment Day Decor
Our decor proposal inspired by the World Environment Day can only be to recommend you to make your own urban garden, both if you are so lucky to live in a house with garden and if not, since you can arrange with your neighbours to make it in some piece of land near your home.
If prefer, you also may take the initiative of making it by yourself, and you will see that soon your neighbours will follow you!
In shops specialized in plants and gardening, you will find several models of growing tables for urban gardens, but you can also make your garden directly on the ground, or hanging.
The hardest part is maintaining consistency in their care and watering, because otherwise you should just follow the advice of the experts of your favorite garden shop and enjoy your own fruits, vegetables, aromatic herbs: watermelons, raspberries, strawberries, tomatoes, onions, beets, beans, peppermint, rosemary ....

World Oceans Day
Celebrate the World Oceans Day next 8th June. The propose of this event is to create a sense of respect for them and raise awareness of the need to protect against the various dangers: pollution, overfishing and acidification.
For more information on this celebration and the various projects that are being carried out to protect the oceans, we recommend you visit the website of the UNESCO (UNESCO) and the NGO Mundus Maris (Mundus Maris).

World Environment Day
Next June 5th the World Environment Day is
celebrated. This year Barbados will host this day, and the slogan is “Raise
your voice, not the sea level”.
In 1972 the the United Nations General
Assembly established this day, and created the United Nations Environment
Programme (UNEP).
Following, we show you the actions planned
for this day arranged by the UNEP. Here you are what they posted on their web:
1. UNEP Goodwill Ambassadors, Don Cheadle, Yaya Touré, Gisele Bündchen and
Ian Somerhalder are sending an SOS to the world to take action for World
Environment Day by joining one of their teams to combat climate change. Access
on http://wedchallenge.com and step up to the challenge.
2. Prepare for the WED Tweetathon today!
Raise
your voice and Tweet for #WorldEnvironmentDay.
Last
year, World Environment Day was one of the top 10 most tweeted topics on the
Twitterverse. This year, make your voice heard together with the millions who
will show their solidarity for the islands, climate change and the environment.
Next
4 and 5 of June 2014 log on to your Twitter account and schedule some messages
to be sent between those 48 hours. You just have to remember to include
#WorldEnvironmentDay or #WED2014.
WED is the opportunity for everyone to
realize the responsibility to care for the Earth. Recycle, plant a tree, get
together sustainable and prosperous life for all on this planet. Every action
counts!
