Seville April Fair

Two weeks after the Easter, Seville celebrates its Fair, the first of its spring parties.

Although it usually takes place on April, this year it begins the 6^th of May and ends the 11^th.

This Fair starts on the "fish night", when the thousand of bulbs that decorate the main door of the Fair area, located in Los Remedios, are turned on, and from that moment on neither the food, the music, nor the art end.

Following, some videos and pictures for you to have a small idea about the great enviroment along the more that one thousand “casetas” (individual green or red tents temporarily built for this fair), that you can live there if you are so lucky to go!

Magnets of potted geraniums

Turn your kitchen into a real Courtyard of Córdoba through our proposal decoration to celebrate the Courtyards Festival of Córdoba. This decoration is very easy to make: plant geraniums in a small plant pot and glue two tiny magnets to the plant pot. A bit of Seville Fair in your home

To give a Seville Fair touch to your home we propose you to decorate some frames with the typical fabric of the Seville Fair dresses.

Those are quite simple to do, choose the fabric of your preferred colours and decorate your favorite frames with them.

You can do a lot of combinations, and those look great if go with some flowers.

The Courtyards Festival of Córdoba

We propose to visit the city of Córdoba (in the South of Spain) in the next 15 days and enjoy with the Courtyards Festival that will take place from the 5th to 18th of May. This Festival is a competition where residents open the doors of their houses so that both residents and tourists can visit the patios, these little havens.

In 1980 it was declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest and in 2012 it was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Raspberry smoothie for the Mothering Day

 To celebrate the Mother´s Day with your mother we propose you to make a delicious raspberry smoothie. 

It is made with milk, a creamy yogurt, banana and raspberries. It's time for strawberries and this fruit is perfect for preparing all kinds of drinks. In order to celebrate the Mother's Day with children, here you are a delicious sangria without alcohol, very refreshing and healthy: 1 kg of ripe strawberries, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 125 grams of brown sugar, orange juice and 3 1/2 liter of sparkling water .
