And to top it off, we added some English biscuits.

Chocolate lollipops for hiking

Our proposal for dessert inspired by hiking is the chocolate lollipops.
Those are very easy to make and will help you to make your route with more energy!

You just have to heat coverage chocolate in the microwave (or water bath, according to the instructions of the chocolate that you buy), and spread on a sheet of tracing paper, with the shape that you prefer. Then put a stick in each lollipop.

Finally, you can put candies or wait for it to cool, melt white chocolate and draw pictures on the lollipop.

Here you are some pictures with our lollipops!

Fruit skewers

Following we propose a very "natural" and healthy dessert: fruit skewers.

It is a very simple dessert to make and also a very convenient way to eat, especially if you are visiting some of the national parks that we have recommended.

Alternate fruits of different colours and get a very colorful skewer.

Dessert for a "tapas" event

A good dessert to close a "tapas" lunch is a cheesecake in a glass. It is very easy to make and very fast, it takes about 10 minutes.

The basis is prepared with crushed cookies. Those are mixed with thawed butter (about 20 seconds in the microwave), and once we have the mixture, you have to put it in the glass and pressure on it. Let it in the fridge some minutes.

Next, in another bol, you have to mix one unit of butter (also previously thawed in the microwave), with half unit of sugar. Afterwards you have to add two and a half units of cream cheese and some tablespoonfuls of lemon juice.

Finally, add this mixture in the glass with the cookies basis, and cover it with jam.

We made it with blueberries jam, lemon cream and pumkin jam, and that's the result!

Chocolate and Jazz

The dessert that Jazz evokes is a brownie, as both were created in United States at a close time.
Jazz originated in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century in New Orleans and the first brownie receipts are from the same time.

Following, an excerpt of why UNESCO created an international Jazz day:
·   Jazz breaks down barriers and creates opportunities for mutual understanding and tolerance;
·   Jazz is a vector of freedom of expression;
·   Jazz is a symbol of unity and peace;
·   Jazz reduces tensions between individuals, groups, and communities;
·   Jazz fosters gender equality;
·   Jazz reinforces the role youth play for social change;
·   Jazz encourages artistic innovation, improvisation, new forms of expression, and inclusion of traditional music forms into new ones;
·   Jazz stimulates intercultural dialogue and empowers young people from marginalized societies.

And of course, following some pictures of our brownie. Enjoy!
